Commissioned by Radio del Museo Reina Sofia in Madrid, "Erosion/Evaporation (Scan Reina Sofia)" treats the architectural plans of the museum as open-ended music scores. Following from Carrington's debut album "Cathedral Scan", "Erosion/Evaporation" uses similar techniques but then goes further into cinematic sound design and expression with 5 unique tracks, each a scan of a different wing of the museum, including the satellite location Crystal Palace.

The album cover shows a rendering of the museum's historic Sabatini building, along with an homage to minimalist painter Jo Baer.
